more ..

2.5 x 3.5(inch)

30 x 30 (inch)

16 x 20(inch)

A beautiful sunlight shining on my wrinkled bed sheet,

The thick curves and spaces between the wrinkles on fabric,

Shiny ripples floating on the dark blue-black water

on a lake where I often visited.

And I fall in love...

Starting with complicated bright line drawings on a white background

which I repaint over, twice or more working on filling

the background, my process repeats.

I smudge to reveal and

erase.

Like revealing a full moon and erasing it back again with

dark night sky.

I am very happy with these set of works.

I always start with complicated bright line drawings on a white background. Then, I repaint over them twice or more working on filling the background instead. My process is repeating. I smudge to reveal and erase. It’s like revealing a full moon and erasing it back again with dark night sky.

Often, my childish side is revealed. I would paint black scribbles to cover my mistakes fast so no one would notice but do the opposite. I would use dark marks and bold colors almost seeking for an attention.

Figure drawing

Usually work with pencil when drawing figures..
But trying out pen and ink for a change!
It is working well and love to go fast!

This is my first blog!
well, I have been painting seriously for only 4 years.
I fell in love with the lines.
Now, I started to see lines everywhere.

My blanket, ripple of water, folded fabric.. and so on.
I try to paint that in an interesting way.
